Pocket Margin Mosaic is a quote margin workbench for freelance designers. Use it before sending a client proposal: enter the fee, workload, costs, payment timing, and revision allowance, then calculate effective hourly margin and the point where extra revisions erase your chosen hourly floor.
What the app does
Create or edit a quote study with project label, fee, work blocks (labels and estimated hours), direct costs, payment delay days, follow-up hours per delay day, included revisions, hours per revision, and your hourly floor. Tap Calculate Quote to see loaded hours, net fee after costs, effective hourly margin, above- or below-floor status, and—when applicable—how many additional revisions would cross the floor. Adjust an alternate fee or included-revision allowance to compare decisions, then save the study locally.
Saved studies and scope changes
Open Saved Studies to revisit a prior quote. When a client changes scope, reopen the study, update work hours, costs, payment assumptions, or revision allowance, recalculate, and save the updated study. Deleting a single study or all local studies is available from the saved-studies and settings flows described in the product.
Settings
You can choose a preferred currency display for quote values and set a default hourly floor for new studies. Preferences are stored on your device together with your studies.
Calculations and limits
All math runs on device from your inputs. The app does not connect to financial accounts, pull market rates, or send quotes to clients. If loaded hours are zero or revision hours are not defined, some results (such as a finite revision threshold) may not appear until you enter valid work-hour input. The app does not replace tax, legal, or contractual advice.
Privacy and terms
Quote content stays on your device unless you export or share it yourself. Read the Privacy Policy for storage and deletion details and the Terms of Use for conditions of use.
